Passt nicht so ganz in die Reihe der von Cinni eingestellten Artikel, aber ich finde es trotzdem interessant: von Viviane Theby und Celina del Amo gibt es kleine "Pferde-Clicker-Anleitungen" zum Download, die schön fein unterteilt die ersten Schritte des Pferdeclickerns beschreiben. Sie scheinen für die gestellten Aufgaben auch jeweils ein kleines Trainingstagebuch beigefügt zu haben.
Die ersten zwei sind gratis (und nur die habe ich mir bisher angeschaut). Gefällt mir recht gut, auch wenn es für die allermeisten hier thematisch schon längst "überholt" ist (weil halt die allerersten Schritte, Konditionierung, Höflichkeit, Stillstehen). Ich bin gespannt, was da thematisch noch kommt...

The researchers also looked at mice that were challenged with new motor tasks every day, but did not repeat the same task over and over like the ones trained in seed-grabbing or capellini-handling. These mice also grew lots of new dendritic spines, but few of the new spines were clustered.

"Repetitive activation of the same cortical circuit is really important in learning a new task," Zuo said. "But what is the optimal frequency of repetition? Ultimately, by studying the relationship between synapse formation and learning, we want to find out the best way to induce new memories."

hmm... ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich das (englisch... ) richtig verstanden habe.... - aber, sagt der Artikel aus, dass MR toll ist und Clickertraining nicht toll? Also dass MR viel effektiver und toller ist als Clickertraining? Irgendwie hab ich den Eindruck dass die beiden Clickertanten jetzt finden, dass MRs Methode suuuuuuper ist...?

Vielleicht kann das ja mal jmd. richtigstellen (falls nötig), der Englisch auch verstehen kann?

Der Artikel sagt nicht aus, daß MRs Training besser als Clickertraining ist. Aber die beiden Frauen sagen, daß MRs Training auch nicht schlecht ist. Denn laut ihrer Aussage schafft er es, daß sich die Pferde wohl fühlen und entspannen und zwar u.a. aufgrund seines unglaublich guten Timings. Die beiden Frauen haben in diesen Tagen bei MR viel gelernt.
Aber was hat MR gelernt? Dazu kam irgendwie nicht viel rüber. Er steht nun vielleicht dem CT ein wenig positiver gegenüber, aber er ist - so lese ich das raus - immer noch gegen das Füttern aus der Hand. Ich bin mit dem "Ergebnis" auch nicht sehr zufrieden. Aber vielleicht wäre es einfach für den Anfang zu viel gewesen (und zu wenig Zeit), MR davon zu überzeugen, daß man problemlos mit Leckerlies arbeiten kann.

Ich finde, das ist was, was (u.a.) CT und NH auf jeden Fall gemeinsam haben: Es steht und fällt mit gutem Timing – wie jedes Training eigentlich. Die Leute, die meiner Meinung nach gutes NH betreiben, zeichnen sich für mich dadurch aus, dass sie durch möglichst optimales Timing auch ohne großartige Druckstufenerhöhung gute Erfolge erzielen können und kleinschrittig arbeiten. So beobachte ich das z.B. bei meiner RL, die auch eher "in dieses Eck gehört", wenn man das so sagen mag.

Ich hab den Artikel auch so wie du verstanden.
Es liest sich aber auch so, als ob MR den beiden nicht wirklich viel Zeit gegeben hat, die Pferde nach ihrer Methode zu "bearbeiten".
